Wedges that kill?

The hottest shoes around right now are espadrelles and wedges. We flash back to the 1970's like it was yesterday and instantly, bohemia is the place to be. I was surfing around on Zappo's and happened to run across these KILLER wedges from Vigotta. They're called "Irene" and they are just TOO CUTE FOR WORDS. (Vigotti - Irene $179.95) Not only are these slingback wedges, which couldn't be more awesome, but they are so bright and summery - yet they keep their chic with the black overlay. I just LOVE them!

So I was not only inspired, but intrigued. . . Who is this Vigotti and how do they fit into the vast empire that is "hot shoes?"

I come to find that this "Vigotti" character is one step to the sane side of the Betsey Johnson of shoes! I should have seen it coming - but even Carlos Santana and his CRAZED shoe affairs don't touch Vigotti's sense of style and randomness! Who else would throw together the hottest Pink Python boots and put a stiletto heel on them?! (Vigotti's "Ancoma" boots - $145.95) I'm in love - sprung! And what about these DARLING turquoise heels? These are Vigotti's "Terry" pumps. The satin ribbons and the asian inspired fabric is just too much - I can't handle it! Rounded toes are so touchy these days, though. But you can't look at these shoes honestly and tell them they're not pretty. You just CAN'T! (Vigotti - Terri $227.95)
